Radio reports
I've just been told the radio is reporting me as saying "knives are cool". A blog post that called on kids to "pour scorn on those that require weaponry" and suggested putting posters up of knife criminals, mocking their "wimp"ish status, certainly did not say that using a knife in a fight was a cool thing to do. I wish they'd mentioned my suggested solutions, they might actually work and save some lives, which is what we all want.
It's not as if I speak from total ignorance with regards to the dangers of knives either. See here for example.

I agree with the other comments. Although you and I disagree fundamentally on the nature of society, there is no reason I can see why you should not comment as you have. These emotional blackmailers who try to stifle free speech are the ones who should shut it.
TOM, thank you for that, especially considering the disagreements we have had in the past. Friends I have had that I differed from politically, despite the heated arguments, stayed as friends because underneath it all, we all want the same thing: things to be better than they are.
